Alvin “Jack” Edward Nebeker

Alvin “Jack” Edward Nebeker, 94, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 15, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Jack was born August 3, 1929, in Clark Ward (Annis), Idaho, to Alvin Edwin Nebeker and Rebecca Bebe Rosezelle Runolfson Nebeker. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby, Idaho.
On June 10, 1970, he married Margaret Rose Rub in Anaconda, Montana. Alvin and Margaret made their home there and remained until Margaret passed in October of 2023.
He had a 20 year career in the United States Air Force. He then worked at Anaconda Copper Smelter for 6 years and also as a farmhand for several years.
Jack was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid outdoors man! He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, rock hounding, prospecting, spelunking, and actually discovered a cave in 1963 while hunting and named it the Three Sisters after his 3 daughters.
Jack is survived by his children, Earla Oliver of Deer Park, WA, Marilyn Nebeker of Spokane, WA, Bonnie Caro of Spokane, WA, and Marion Sage of Billings, MT; brothers, John Nebeker of UT, Andrew Nebeker of KS, and Alton Nebeker of Idaho Falls, ID; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and son, Phillip Nebeker.
Services for Jack and Margaret will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia Chapel, 840 East Elva Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
