Bryson A. Rustad, 31, passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He was born on June 19, 1994, to Billie Jo Schaff and Lenny Rustad, who cherished him from the very beginning.

Bryson lived life with a fun loving spirit. He had a gift for teasing, joking, and bringing joy to those around him. He loved the outdoors—whether he was fishing, camping, sitting around a bonfire, riding motorcycles, or logging alongside his father, Bryson felt most at home under the open sky.

For the past year, Bryson worked at Hi Country Snack Foods, where he enjoyed spending his days working with his mom. Above all else, his greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Brealynn Rustad, who lit up his world.

Bryson is survived by his parents, Billie Jo Schaff (Carey Martz) and Lenny Rustad; his brother Cody Rustad (Misty); his nieces and nephew Alexis, Katie and James, his grandfather Phil Schaff; and his grandmother Teresa Rustad. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply.

Those who knew Bryson will remember his bright presence—whether he was making you laugh or singing along to his favorite songs. He grew up in Anaconda, Butte, and Missoula, later moving to North Dakota, and eventually settling in Lincoln, where he made his home over the past year.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 10, 2026, at the American Legion, located at 220 Cedar Street, Anaconda, Montana. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Bryson’s life.
