It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grant Marshall Kopp, who left this world on May 31, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on September 12, 1980, in Anaconda, Montana, Grant was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by his three cherished children, Trent, Zoe, and Rogan. Grant’s love for his children was evident in everything he did; he spent countless hours with them, making memories that will forever be treasured.

Grant was raised by his loving mother, Tami Whittington, who instilled in him the values of kindness, compassion, and humor. He had a close bond with his mother, and her unwavering support shaped him into the caring person he became. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Kopp, Step Father Gene Whittington, his Grandmother Bernice Jones, Grandfather Jack Jones, and his uncles Gary and Rocky Jones. All of whom he held dear to his heart. 

A proud graduate of Anaconda High School in 1999, Grant was known for his warm spirit and infectious laughter. Grant laughed with his whole heart. He had a natural talent for woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and share his craftsmanship with friends and family. His many friends, will remember him as a kind, loving, and funny individual who had an incredible ability to make those around him feel valued and loved.

Grant is survived by his Mother Tami Whittington, Sons Trent & Rogan, Daughter Zoe Jane, Brother Kane Whittington, Aunt Jackie Johnson. He also leaves behind Cousins Timmie Gallagher, Jay Johnson, Hallie Johnson, and many other relatives who cherished him deeply. Grant’s love for his family extended to a wide circle of friends who became his chosen family, and together they created a community filled with laughter and support.

Grant’s struggles and triumphs in life serve as a reminder of the importance of compassion and understanding. He will be remembered not only for his challenges but for the immense love he shared with those around him. His legacy of kindness and caring will live on in the hearts of his children and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate Grant’s life will be held on June 13, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Revive Church 416 E 5th St. Anaconda. A reception will follow at the AOH Hall 4p-6p. We invite all who knew and loved him to gather in remembrance of a gentle soul who brought joy and love to so many. As we say goodbye, let us remember Grant for the light he brought into our lives, and may his memory continue to inspire kindness and compassion in all of us.

Rest in peace, Grant. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
