Helen Rae Borrowman

Helen Rae Borrowman, 77, passed away peacefully at Anaconda Hospital on February 5, 2025, after a short illness. 

Helen was born in Yellowstone Park on August 20, 1947, to Betty and John Galle. She grew up in Opportunity, where she was raised by her grandmother, Kathleen Glasson. She graduated from Anaconda High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, Jerry Borrowman, on June 11, 1966. They raised their children Stacie and Shane in Opportunity. While living in Opportunity she was ahead of her time running a gourmet coffee and tea shop in the early 1980s. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Stacie, her parents Betty and John Galle as well as her grandmother Kathleen Glasson. She is survived by her husband Jerry, son Shane Borrowman, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Borrowman, and grandchildren Samantha and John Borrowman, in addition to her brother John Galle, and sisters Laurie Green and Sandy Little.
