Jeanette Marie Keele Fresh

Born May 11, 1949 to Belva and Leo Keele in Anaconda, MT. Returned to Our Heavenly Father on December 10, 2025.

Throughout her life, she was fortunate to visit many LDS Temples to dedicate, pray and be baptized for many loved ones. She enjoyed playing darts and cracking her bullwhip. Also an excellent cook. Especially the homemade candy and fudge she and Elden made for everyone.

We would like to thank Don and Deb Bailey for always being there for them, also Jeannette’s care and loving her. And the Home Health Hospice Care nurse “Janette.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Belva Keele; her first husband, Pete Clegg; infant son, Troy Clegg; her second husband, Robert Hamel; and the love of her life, Elden Fresh. And sister-in-law Lisa Keele.

She is survived by her daughter Trudy Clegg Parks (Rob), sons Tracy and Travis Hamel and their families. Adopted daughter Tia Fresh, and many nieces and nephews. Also Elden’s children, Andrew and Angie and his siblings. Also her church friends: Troy James, Greg and Tess Oxnam, Troy and Tracy Jenrich, Cathy Doucet, Dixie Keto, John and Lorine Wolfe, Lorene Wren and Barbara, Ken and Sandra Walund, Christy Miller and so many more. 

Jeanette is survived by her loving siblings: Dan Keele, Cindy Sanders (Ron), Nancy Lutey, Bob Keele and Nora Nielsen (Brad).

Per her final wishes, there will be no services. “Rest in peace sweet sister.”
