Justice Court

The honorable Kenneth Walund presiding:

• Danielle Marie Duck of Butte pleaded guilty on July 28 to a charge of operating without liability insurance, fourth offense. The defendant was fined $500 plus $35 surcharge and sentenced to four days in jail.

• Amber Ellen Burwick of Clinton pleaded guilty to theft – unauthorized control over property, first offense and a count of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. For the charge of theft, the defendant was fined $200 plus $85 surcharge, and for the charge of obstructing a peace officer, the defendant was fined $200 plus $75 surcharge and sentenced to six months’ jail time with all suspended but one day plus credit for one day of time served.
