Justice Court

• Christopher Eric Vook of Butte appeared before Judge Ken Walund on May 12 where he pleaded guilty to an amended count of driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was sentenced to one year in jail with all but seven days suspended plus a $1,200 fine and ordered to pay court costs and complete ACT Class, with recommendation that a probationary license be issued. Charges of unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway and failure to drive to right of roadway except to pass were dismissed per a motion by the deputy county attorney.

• Arthur Frank Heath III of Anaconda appeared before Judge Ken Walund on June 20 where he pleaded guilty to criminal trespass to property and criminal mischief with pecuniary loss less than $1,500. He was fined $100 plus $85 surcharge and sentenced to six months in jail suspended for criminal trespass, and for criminal mischief he was fined $500 plus $75 surcharge, given six months in jail with all but three days suspended and ordered to pay restitution for a broken window.
