Lady Copperheads take second at district volleyball tournament

The Lady Copperheads gather together for a team photo at the close of the 6-B District Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Memorial Gym, where Anaconda took second place after battling their way through the consolation bracket to face Florence-Carlton in the championship. The Lady Falcons came out on top, however, winning in five sets. Both teams, along with Loyola-Sacred Heart and Powell County High School, will advance to the Western B Divisional Tournament, which starts on Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Eureka.
