Randy Lee Fleming

With heavy hearts goodbyes were said to Randy Fleming on July 16, 2024. He passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena surrounded by his family. Randy was the oldest child of Karen (Hurlbert) and Bill Fleming born May 12 of 1967 at Saint Ann’s Hospital in Anaconda. Randy grew up in Opportunity, attended Beaverdam school, AJH and AHS school graduating in 1985. Randy had various jobs throughout his life starting employment at the fish hatchery in Anaconda when he was 16 years old. He worked at MSP for time, and START before moving to Helena 16 years ago and reconnected with his junior high school crush Karlee (Hancock). Randy and Karlee were married June 26, 2009 in Helena. He began work at Boyd Andrews Pre-Release in 2008 where he worked to the end. He worked through 6 years of being on dialysis then cancer struck hard and fast.
Randy leaves behind his wife Karlee of 15 yrs, parents, Karen and Pat Mulcahy, grandson Jordan Fleming, ,son Tristan Fleming of Virginia, daughter Felicia (Jesse) Queen, grandsons Conner and Ashton Coates, brother, Rob, Fleming of Anaconda, sister and brother-in-law, Trisha and Pete Driver of Gillette, WY, sister Kimberly Rebich of Missoula and brother in-law Randy (Christine) Warner of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Aunts and Uncles Marlys Hurlbert, Nancy(Serge) Myers, Gloria Forward, David(Cheryl) Hurlbert. Nephews and Nieces Nathan and Trevor Driver, Kyler, Dominic, Faith, Hope, Charity(Mike) and Genesis Rebich of Missoula, Jonathan and Annabelle Warner and many cousins (too many to list).
He was proceeded in death by his daughters, Taylor SueAnn and Mackenzie Ray Fleming, father Bill Fleming, grandparents Elnor and George Hurlbert, Jesse and Bill Fleming, mother-law Margaret( Pinkie) Warner and several aunts and uncles. Our hearts are broken but you are at peace ,free of dialysis, cancer and pain. Your Legacy will be carried on by Jordan Riley Fleming, you were each other’s rock .
The family of Randy Fleming is grateful to Dr. Laclair and his nurses and staff in the dialysis unit at St. Peters hospital as well as many other physicians and nurses at St. Peter’s hospital.
In celebration of Randy we will be hosting a celebration of life gathering at the DoubleTree on Saturday, August 3rd, from 2:00-6:00P.M. it will be potluck so if you would like to bring your favorite dish please feel free.
