Richard G. (Dick) Harris

On March 6, 2026 Richard G. (Dick) Harris, husband to Raeleen Harris and father of Rick and Randy, passed away at the age of 88 in Pasco, WA.  Dick was born May 13, 1937 in Anaconda, MT to Glenn and Fran Harris.  

He graduated from Anaconda High School and married Raeleen shortly thereafter.  Rick was born the following year.  Dick and Raeleen took in foster children and in 1968 adopted a three-year-old baby they named Randy.  

Dick worked at the Deer Lodge Sheriff’s office and the Anaconda Company smelter.  In 1981 they relocated to Richland, Washington and Dick worked at the Hanford site until he retired in 1996.  

He loved to RV with Raeleen after retirement and also worked at various winery tasting rooms in the Tri-Cities.

A graveside service will be held this Saturday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery.  Following that family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at the Old Works Country Club in Anaconda.
