Rosella Bouck
On the afternoon of 21 August 2024, Rosella Bouck passed away while on a family outing in Butte, as a result of natural causes. Rosella was 86 years old.
Rosella was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 5 March 1938 to George Jongejan and Irene Takis. In her life, Rosella was a devoted wife, woman of faith, a strong follower of Jesus Christ and had lived 60 years in Anaconda. Rosella loved Anaconda and loved being out in the community whenever time would allow.
Rosella also loved taking care of her family, raising her six children, going to church at First Baptist, parades, movies, and had a special affection for celebrating the holidays and being in nature. Rosella was an ardent volunteer to the Big Brothers and Sisters Program (10 years) and regularly volunteered with the Senior Companions Program (23 years). Cumulatively, Rosella will be sorely missed by her family. Rosella is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years James R. Bouck, her son Nathan Bouck, granddaughter Ellie Bowman, Sister Lavon Young and brother Gary Young. Rosella is survived by her brothers Lee Young, Jay Jensen (spouses Kathy and Diane respectively), sister Shirley Lucero, daughter Marcy Bouck and husband Jesse, daughter Susan Bowman and fiancé Richard, son Miles Bouck and wife Kimberly, daughter Linda and husband Jay, son Scott Bouck and her dog Tobey. Surviving grandchildren include Kiri, Shelby, Addy, Nathalie, Elizabeth, Ethan, Abigail, Taliah, Caleb, Elijah, Timothy and their families. Surviving great-grandchildren, Luca, Arlo, Ellis, Kodiak, Zippora, Bella, Isla, Alice, James, Luke, Liam and Eden.
A Funeral Service will be at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home, 107 Oak Street, Anaconda, MT, 59711 on Saturday, August 31st, beginning at 10:30 a.m. There will be a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at New Hill Cemetery.
