Scenes from the St. Paddy's Day Race

Published by admin on Fri, 03/15/2024 - 16:19

That will make quite the photo finish with a group of that size crossing the line at the same time.

Not as a big a group in numbers, but we certainly have to admire their St. Paddy's Day spirit!

Nope, you're not seeing double there, just double the dogs. Must make for quite the handful.

Yup, he did indeed dribble the entire three miles. Most impressive.

Now that is a look of determination if we've ever seen one.

And here's the first competitor to cross the finish line while asleep!

Yeah that's right Cait, you raise those hands, you earned it.

Coming in for a perfect two-point landing!

Anything he can do, she can do better.

You made it! Good job Joe! Way better than I could do.

His son Ricco does another runner a solid by reaching their tag out over the line before his own.

Jack's got the right idea here with the walking sticks I think.

And Ed is the lone piper at the finish line waiting for the runners (and walkers) to come marching in.

As promised in today's paper, here is a baker's dozen worth of photos from the finish line at Saturday's AOH St. Paddy's Day Race. Hopefully you'll enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
