State Trails Advisory Committee meeting set for March 10-11
The State Trails Advisory Committee (STAC) will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 10, and from 8 a.m. to noon on March 11. The STAC advises Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks on trail-related concerns and needs, including the funding, use and promotion of motorized and nonmotorized recreational trails. During the March meeting, STAC will review and discuss scoring of the applications received for the 2026 Recreational Trails Program and 2026 Trail Stewardship Program grant cycles.
The group will meet in person, with a virtual option, at the Region 2 FWP Headquarters, 3201 Spurgin Road in Missoula. The meeting is open to the public, and public comment will be taken.
