Voices of the Pintlers Christmas Concert

Published by admin on Fri, 12/27/2024 - 13:30

The Voices of the Pintlers, Anaconda's Adult Education choir, presented its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Anaconda Junior/Senior High School Little Theatre. The impressive program featured a whopping 18 pieces, including many traditional Christmas favorites, and several solo performances as well. Top: Spencer Fehr directs the Voices of the Pintlers as they sing A Christmas Madrigal. Above left: Gary Costle gets the singers and the audience clapping as he plays the fiddle with Jane Bing-Craig (not pictured) the accompanist on the piano. Above middle: Rae Driggs sings The Christmas Song with Sandy Wargo (not pictured) as accompanist. Above right: Mary Johnston sings What Child Is This with Anne Dobney (not pictured) the accompanist. Also offering a piano solo was Maureen Watt, playing Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. The music didn't stop there, either as there were plenty of school holiday concerts that week; see Page 12 of today's paper for our school concert photos. Leader photos: James S. Rosien
