Meela Mitchell waves to the home crowd at halftime of the Lady Copperheads' home opener against Thompson Falls on Saturday as she was recognized for reaching the 1,000-point mark, which she did during the Tip-Off Tournament at Three Forks the previous weekend.
A video tribute was played at halftime as well, which included footage from the game where she scored her 1,000th career point, becoming the fifth girl in school history to do so.
