First Presbyterian Church

Saturday night is dinner and a movie. Movie is guaranteed to be a Christmas movie. Just not sure which one. Pizza and popcorn for dinner. On Sunday, Dec. 21 please join us for church at 11 a.m. This week is our Christmas program. There will be special music, kids songs, readings, a potluck after church and more singing during the potluck. The sermon is on love and the scripture is Matthew 1:18-25. Hope to see you there. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Reverend Theresa will be here in Anaconda to lead the service of Holy Communion. Deacons will assist. Pat Forsman and Margaret Ricci will sing the intro for the Canticle of the day which will be sung by all. Special music will feature Dick and Billie Brown and a solo by Rae Driggs. Organist is Margaret Ricci. Coffee hour is in the Parish House following the service. The Vestry meets after church.

The Christmas Eve service begins at 7 p.m. Christmas dinner follows the evening service. Come join us.

The historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, at the corner of Main and 6th streets, meets on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. The priest, Rev. Theresa, conducts services with Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. Deacons Jim and Mary Alice Jones lead worship with traditional Morning Prayer on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. The historic pipe organ, given by Mrs. Marcus Daly, is used every Sunday.

Anaconda Catholic Community

We welcome all to join us to celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Sunday Masses are at 9 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, and 11 a.m. at Holy Family. A Communal Advent Penance Service will be offered on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at Holy Family.

Weekday Mass will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon at Holy Family. Christmas eve Masses are at 5 p.m. at Holy Family and 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church; Christmas morning Mass will be at 10 a.m. at Holy Family. 

Scripture Study Groups: Men’s Group and Women’s Group meet on Mondays at 5 pm at Holy Family. The Men’s and Women’s Group meets on Wednesdays from 9-10 a.m. at Holy Family. RE and Youth Group classes are on break until Wednesday, Jan. 7.

Hope Lutheran Church

Members and friends of Hope Lutheran Church will meet for worship this 4th Sunday of Advent at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Judy Lamb will lead the service. Anne Dobney is organist. Patti Sundberg will set up communion. Sherilyn Danielson will serve coffee. Fly-tying group will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. Please join us Wednesday for Candlelight Communion Service at 7 p.m.

Gateway Christian Fellowship

The worship gathering on the fourth Sunday of Advent is hosted at 10:30 a.m. Are you being a Grinch as the holiday pressure builds? God’s timing is not ours. “Should we pray for Heavenly Patience?” is the final message in the Advent series about developing a pure, passionate, peaceful and patient heart. Gateway Kids will meet during the message with age-appropriate groups for students ages 3-12. This Wednesday is Christmas Eve. Our Candles, Communion and Candlelight” gathering is at 5:30 p.m. Sunday worship gatherings are livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube for Gateway Christian Fellowship Anaconda. Redeemer Lutheran Church

Redeemer Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod will be holding regular Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday with Bible Class and fellowship coffee and snacks following. We will also be holding Advent services each Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with a soup luncheon to follow. All are welcome. A Christmas Eve daytime service will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 24.
