Lani Maria Kleinhans

On November 3, 2023 Lani Maria Kleinhans of Bothell WA passed away from complications of diabetes.

Lani was born in Anaconda, MT on May 22, 1948.  Her parents were Paul Kenneth and Elizabeth Myrtle Kleinhans.  She is survived by her sister, Marda Kristine Kleinhans, also of Bothell, as well as numerous cousins and other family members.  

Lani attended St. Paul’s grade school and graduated from Anaconda Senior High in 1966. After high school Lani attended the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with a degree in political science.  Lani began her career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the typing pool, and was so intrigued she went back to school to become an agent. As a Federal Agent she traveled and lived in numerous locations until she transferred to Seattle, WA and served with FBI until she retired.

Lani enjoyed traveling, photography, music, antiquing and especially her family, which included a number of small dogs and cats throughout the years.  She was a loving, caring lady.

A memorial service will be held on her birthday, May 22, 2024 in Anaconda MT.  Please join us to bid her farewell.  Details will be announced at a later date.
