James “Jim” Richard Bishop

James “Jim” Richard Bishop, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2023. He was born September 5, 1953 in Anaconda to Seth and Lorraine Bishop. He had two siblings, Judy and John.

Jim attended Anaconda Central High and on New Year’s Eve 1971 he married his high school sweetheart, Jane Bucy.

Jim served in The United States Navy from 1971 to 1979 as an Aviation Electronics Technician aboard The U.S.S. Enterprise. After the military he worked in the Seattle area. 

In later years, Jim and Jane moved to the Midwest where he worked at Spring River Mental Health and Wellness as the director of IT.

Jim is survived by Jane, his wife of 51 years; two sons: Seth Bishop and Aaron Bishop (Melissa); grandsons: James and Ben Bishop.
