Church Notes

First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church will worship at 11 a.m. with Pastor Veva Larson speaking on “Understanding the Trinity” based on John 14:1-14 and Hebrews 13:1-3. Special music provided by the Chancel Choir.

Lunch Bunch on Wednesday will be hosted by Grace Baptist.

Hope Lutheran Church

This Holy Trinity Sunday, members of Hope Lutheran Church and friends will meet for worship at 9:30 a.m. This Sunday LPA Mike Lawson will preach. Marg Ricci is organist. Betty Ann and Errol Eileraas will set up Holy Communion. John and Connie Fitzpatrick will host coffee hour. Monday is a holiday – the office will be closed. Have a safe and happy weekend. On Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bible Study group will meet. On Wednesday, May 29 Lunch Bunch meets at the Presbyterian Church – we serve. If you can help please let Kay know. On Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 our Synod Assembly will be held in Billings – the Pastor and two members will be attending.  

 

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Terry Montgomery will lead the Morning Prayer Service this Sunday. Organist is Margaret Ricci. The Coffee/Fellowship will be hosted by Pat Forsman and Margaret Ricci.

The Bible study group meets on Wednesday at 7 p.m in the Parish House directly behind the church. All are welcome. 

We are still bringing items needed for the Ecumenical Vacation Bible school, Early Head Start and the Food Bank.

The historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, at the corner of Main and 6th streets, meets on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. The priest, Rev. Theresa, conducts services with Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. Deacons Jim and Mary Alice Jones lead worship with traditional Morning Prayer on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. The historic pipe organ, given by Mrs. Marcus Daly, is used every Sunday.

 

Gateway Christian Fellowship

Please remember with honor our nation’s fallen military members and your personal loved ones this weekend. Our worship gathering is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  Communion will be served. “Lord of the Harvest” is the message them about doing what ministry God calls us to do with purpose. Gateway Kids will be dismissed after a break for teaching and activities for students ages 3-12. The midweek gathering is Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Sunday worship gathering is livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube. If more information is needed, please call the church office at (406) 563-3534.

 

Anaconda Catholic Community

We welcome all to join us in celebration of Holy Trinity Sunday.  We welcome Fr. Tom Haffey who will celebrate our worship services held on Saturday at 5 pm at Holy Family, and Sunday morning at 8:30 am at St. Peter’s Church and 10 am at Holy Family. Weather permitting, the Georgetown Lake Outdoor Mass will begin this Sun-day at 12 noon. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered each Saturday from 3:45 until 4:45 pm at Holy Family Church.

Word and Communion Services will be held this week on Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon at Holy Family, and on Friday at noon at St. Peter’s. Eucharistic Adoration is held each Monday from 6-7 pm at Holy Family and each Wednesday from 10 am – 2 pm at Holy Fami-ly.

Weekly Gospel Reflection/Study groups include the Women’s group on Monday from 5-6 pm, the Men’s group on Monday from 5-6 pm, and a Men’s and Women’s group on Thursday from 10-11:30 am.

Redeemer Lutheran Church

Redeemer Lutheran Church is a member of the Missouri Synod. We are located at 1321 W. 5th St., Anaconda, near stokes corner of Poplar and 5th streets. Our Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. with fellowship and Bible study directly following. Join us.

 

Grace Baptist Church

The Lord God instructs us in the Bible the importance of gathering together as believers. Throughout history our Lord God knew his people would be under opposition from the culture and needed each other to stay strong. Read, listen and watch the news today and when you do times look more like 1st century for believers than ever before. Take heart the Lord God has a solution: see you at 11 a.m. this Sunday. Anaconda Gospel Assembly

Pastor John Anderson and the congregation welcomes you to the Anaconda Gospel Assembly. It is located at 123 Howe St.; cross street is Mount Haggin Avenue off Montana Highway 1 on the west side of Anaconda. Mt. Haggin Baptist Church

Mt. Haggin Baptist Church Pastor Michael A. Revive Center

Our Revive Center family would like to invite you to come worship Jesus with us on Sundays at 11:07 a.m. We are a passionate tribe of believers who aren’t satisfied staying behind the four walls of the church but we want to impact our entire region with the power of God’s love. We have a great kids ministry called Revive Kids. Anaconda Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Anaconda Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has moved to a two-hour block for church services as of Jan. 6 of this year. Sacrament Service will begin at 10 a.m., with Sunday School, Priesthood, Relief Society, and Primary meetings following from 11 a.m. to noon. All are invited and welcome to join us for any or all of these meetings.
