Anaconda Eastern Star holds triple joint meeting, Grand Chapter Visitiation

On May 10, the Anaconda Eastern Star, Eureka-Ruth Chapter, joined the Dear Lodge, Floral Chapter and the Dillon, Mizpaw Chapter for a triple joint meeting with the Montana Grand Matron, Pam Wadish, Billings and the Grand Patron, Richard Lockey, Helena held at the Masonic Temple in Deer Lodge. There were 35 more Grand Representative and visitors join us for the meeting. The gathering started with a feast of sandwiches, homemade salads of various kinds and many homemade pies.

This Grand Chapter visitation is held once a year to judge our local Chapters on our ritual floor work and to check our yearly books. The results then are given to Montana Grand Chapter for the history of our Chapters and to make up the 2024-2025 yearly roster. We heard admonishment from both the Grand Matron and Grand Patron. Everyone had a great time and we received many compliments for the food and our floor work.

It takes many months of planning and practice to get ready for this visit and both Clara Scott and Berta Smith are officers in the Anaconda Eastern Stars.
