Top: Special Olympians Russell Carstens and Alex Fitzpatrick, accompanied by Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Police Officer Matt Ives, carry the torch for the 2025 Pintler Polar Plunge on Saturday at Silver Lake.

Second: The plunge opens with the National Anthem.

Third: The ADLC Police team holds up the banner for Special Olympics Montana.

Fourth: The police team "takes the plunge."

Fifth: The Smelter City Arm Sports team, complete with hammer, takes the plunge.

Sixth: The Anaconda Murdoch's team takes the plunge.

Seventh: The Trihypothermia team takes the plunge in an old-timey way.

Eighth: The Anaconda Youth Baseball team takes the plunge.

Ninth: We didn't get this team's name, but they were ready to rock.

Tenth Anaconda Pintler Search & Rescue keeps plungers safe, and has fun doing it, too.

Second from bottom: The last plunge was in honor of the late Jade Green and Lowell Grosvold.

Bottom: Cheers for this team who were "too chicken" to take the plunge.
