Sharon M. Iblings

Sharon M. Iblings, 81, was peacefully released from the grip of Alzheimer’s Disease on September 30, 2024 and rejoined with her beloved husband and parents.

Sharon was a devoted wife and mother and a friend to many. She spent her entire life in Anaconda, working in and out of the home. Sharon was born to Oscar and Gerry Hansen on January 2, 1943. She grew up without siblngs but had lots of family times with her Verlanic aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church where she served several roles.

She was deeply committed to her family.  After raising her children, she spent many years taking care of her parents and then her husband whose health was failing. She had a quiet strength that brought her through the difficult times and she held on for as long as she could, until Alzheimer’s became a challenge she could no longer battle.  She spent her final 7 years being safely and well cared for at Emerald Crest Memory Care.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children (Darryl, Karen, Scott and Greg) and their spouses (Melanie, Collyn and Samantha), her grandchildren (Jonathan and Kelsey), her great grandchildren (Rylee, Ainsleigh, Brynlee, Hattie and Colby), her extended family, friends, neighbors, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18 at 11:00 AM at Lower Hill cemetery.  Alzheimer’s took her from us many years ago and now she no longer walks beside us, but her spirit and love will remain and be a light that will never fade.
